I would like to encourage you that often time we can get caught up in the idea that unless we do something that seems BIG in our eyes serving God we feel like we are not fulfilling our dreams and desires.

It is sort of like when we hear a testimony of someone who has been saved that committed great and terrible sins and their life is now so wonderfully changed sometimes we can feel like our life testimony is insignificant if we were saved at a young age and never went off deep into a life of sin etc. Yet the reality is Jesus sacrificed just as much for the person saved at a young age as someone saved out of a terrible life of sin. In fact Jesus spared many of us a life of heartache and sin and it's consequences.

Sometimes it can be similar with our dreams of serving the Lord in a "Great Way" in our eyes. If the Lord has placed you here to serve and minister to your family and local church and you have an influence on some teenage girls lives that is a GREAT thing in God's eyes. If you minister to your church in music and help the body of Christ worship Him with heartfelt passion that is a GREAT thing in God's eyes.

It was just a few years ago when God really challenged me about my attitudes about "ministry". He helped me to understand that I was already in ministry that He had called me to in my local church and family and that it was very important.

The exciting thing to think about is that the Lord has been directing your path's by closing doors and opening others even if they seem not as significant at this time. You have some GREAT open doors in your family and your church to pursue GREAT MINISTRIES to the body of Christ. I am excited to see how our Great God will use your surrendered life for His glory.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16567639422879303631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5285934146644838855.post-21115386341518142012012-07-11T08:56:29.392-07:002012-07-11T08:56:29.392-07:00PRAISE GOD!
